What should you do if eBay order sync fails due to SKUs missing in Shopify?
Important Note: Our app syncs Orders and Inventory based on matching SKUs between Shopify and eBay.
If you notice that an order sync has failed, check the order details. If the failure is due to the SKU not being found in the Shopify product catalog, follow these steps:
- If the product is not created in Shopify, you have to either upload that product from eBay to shopify or manually create it.
- If the product exists but has a different SKU in Shopify
- In both above cases, please follow the steps below:
- Click on the down arrow, and you will see a " Link Product " button on the order line item to manually link it.
- Once you click the "Link product" button, a modal with all the Shopify variants will be displayed:
- You can search using the Shopify product's Title **or **by entering the SKUs. After selecting the variant and clicking "Link Now," your SKU will be linked, and the syncing process will begin again.
- Once the process is completed, your eBay failed synced order will be successfully synced to Shopify for fulfillment.
