How can I sync the inventory of my products between Shopify and eBay?

First, your product should be linked to synchronize your inventory between Shopify and eBay. Once you connect the products between the two stores, the system will synchronize inventory. This helps online sellers avoid one of the significant problems that e-commerce store owners are facing nowadays, which is overselling.

Here are a few ways to link the products to ensure that the stock quantity is the same on the products in your Shopify and eBay stores:

  1. Upload Products from Shopify to eBay.
  2. Import Products from eBay to Shopify.
  3. Automatic link the already existing products between Shopify and eBay based on Title and SKUs
  4. Link Inventory based on similar SKU.

**Important Note: **

  • If there is a sale on either Shopify or eBay, it will deduct the inventory on both platforms.
  • Since Shopify is the primary source, if you manually update the inventory in Shopify, it will automatically update the inventory on eBay as well.

However, if you manually update the inventory on eBay, it will not sync back to Shopify due to API limitations. So please ensure that if you are manually updating, you update the inventory in Shopify.
